🔹 What free services does the Pikes Peak Workforce Center offer for job seekers?

PPWFC offers free services including job search help, resume writing assistance, interview preparation, career coaching, job fairs, and access to paid job training programs like WIOA.

🔹 How can I get help finding a job in Colorado Springs or El Paso County or Teller County, Colorado?

Visit our workforce center, call us, or search for jobs online at ConnectingColorado.gov. We can help you find job openings, update your resume, and connect with local employers.

🔹 Where is the Pikes Peak Workforce Center located and what are your hours?

We are located at 1675 Garden of the Gods Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. (Note: We close early at 1 PM on the 2nd Friday of each month for staff training.) Call 719-667-3700 for more information or walk-in services.

Yes! You can meet with a career advisor for resume reviews and interview preparation. We also offer virtual workshops to help you prepare for your next job interview.

🔹 What is WIOA and how can it help me get job training?

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) helps eligible job seekers get free job training and education for in-demand careers in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas.

🔹 Who qualifies for job training programs through the Workforce Center?

Eligibility depends on factors like income, job history, and training goals. Call us or schedule a free career consultation to see if you qualify.

Healthcare, skilled trades, logistics, information technology, and defense-related jobs are in high demand. We help job seekers train for these growing industries.

🔹 Does PPWFC host job fairs or hiring events?

Yes! We host in-person and virtual job fairs throughout the year. And we host a First Wednesday Job Fair each month. PPWFC.org/job-fairs/

🔹 Can teenagers and young adults get help finding their first job?

Absolutely! Our Youth Employment Program supports people ages 16–24 with job search help, internships, and career readiness workshops.
