The Pikes Peak Workforce Center connects vital businesses with work-ready job seekers and employer-driven services. We help residents of El Paso & Teller Counties with career transition, whether they are unemployed, underemployed, or employed.
Our clients range from entry-level to professional, including youth, adults, people returning to the workforce, and those with barriers to employment. We provide job search and training opportunities, including 20 different job seeker workshops at no cost.
In addition, we host the largest virtual and in-person job fairs in Southern Colorado as well as weekly hiring events.

The Pikes Peak Workforce Center offers a wide variety of free services to registered job seekers. Visit our office and have access to resources and staff to help you get started. Free workshops are offered to assist job seekers with computer skills, job searches, career assessments, résumé writing and effective interview skills. Other specialized opportunities provide qualified job seekers with more intensive training and supportive services.
PPWFC has programs for Young Adults, ages 16 to 24, who are having trouble achieving academic or employment success. Out-of-school young adults who may not have completed their diploma requirements can find help getting their GED or getting back into school. If eligible, young adults may receive help with career assessments, tutoring and study skills, tuition assistance, leadership training, mentoring, occupational training, apprenticeships and more.
All local young adults, 16 through 24, may participate in the Governor’s Summer Job Hunt program–a free job-referral service–and are welcome to attend workshops on job-search skills. Young adults interested in employment can go to any American Job Center located throughout the state. These offices, including the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, are a place where young people can meet with a career specialist who will assist them with job-search activities and referrals.
For Veterans, we offer a myriad of employment-related services designed to assist you in transitioning from the military to a civilian career. Your military service entitles you to Priority of Service in American Job Centers, including the Pikes Peak Workforce Center.
