Retail, Restaurant and Hospitality Employers
Through the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, funding is currently available for the Retail & Hospitality Lives Empowered program. Lives Empowered brings together retail and hospitality businesses interested in working collaboratively to increase economic mobility for frontline workers across Colorado and contribute to a strong economy.
This funding is used to increase the competitiveness of the employee and/or employer through training. (Reimbursement for training is provided after training is completed.) Funding is available for businesses in El Paso and Teller counties.
- Deadline for Applications: Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
- Announcement of Winners: Thursday, May 27, 2021.
- (Mandatory) Virtual Instruction Sessions for Awardees: (Attend one): Friday, May 28, or Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
- Deadline for Employer Contracts: Monday, June 14, 2021.
- Deadline for completion of employee training: Friday, September 24, 2021.
- Deadline for Employer Invoices & Certificates: Thursday, September 31, 2021.
