Rapid Response Services
 
Layoffs can be stressful and time-consuming for employers and laid-off workers. Rapid Response services are designed to assist employers with the process and to provide services that enhance the job search efforts for the dislocated workers.
 
  • The Pikes Peak Workforce Center’s Rapid Response transition team will meet with you to help organize the process. We will work one-on-one with dislocated workers to discuss unemployment insurance benefits, re-employment services, and training options, and help your business and displaced staff connect with other valuable services in the community.
  • Employers who use the Pikes Peak Workforce Center’s Rapid Response services may reduce their unemployment insurance liability by maximizing the potential for displaced workers to re-enter the workforce more quickly. 
 
 
Layoffs & Transition Resources
 
These services are targeted toward workers who have been displaced from employment through no fault of their own. Layoffs are difficult for all parties involved, but, by utilizing Pikes Peak Workforce Center Layoff and Transition Resources, employers can be more confident the process is being handled in the most effective manner. 
  • Layoff resources relieve pressure on the employer by providing resume and interviewing workshops featuring highly trained facilitators. Facilitators share current labor market information with transitioning employees, allowing them to effectively explore new employment opportunities.
  • Layoff resources for transitioning workers promotes good public relations for your company and helps protect your brand in our community.
