Business Specialists are your single point of contact for consultation, information, and services provided by the Business Relations Group. Each Business Specialist is assigned an industry and is the expert for that industry.

How does the Business Relations Group work with your business? Your Business Specialist will meet with you to:

  1. Partner with you to conduct an in-depth analysis of your company’s unique workforce and hiring needs, resources and goals.
  2. Next, your Business Specialist will prepare viable options and recommendations such as customized hiring events, candidate assessments, and possible grant participation.

Darlene Wolford

Darlene Wolford serves as a Business Technician with the responsibility of supporting new and current employers with their accounts in the statewide jobs database, Darlene assists with coordinating the logistics of Hiring Events to ensure a successful outcome and provides crucial administrative support to the entire Business Relations Group along with work-based learning programs (Work Experiences and On-the-Job Training). Darlene brings over thirty years of combined experience in customer service and human resources to the Business Relations Group. She has been with the Pikes Peak Workforce Center for two years, most recently serving as a member of the Customer Service team, and was named the Pikes Peak Workforce Center’s Employee of the Year in 2016. Her professional experience includes work for a national retail pharmacy company as an Assistant Manager, Administrative Assistant and in Human Resources, Training and Development. She is passionate about driving results through process and performance improvement and change management. Darlene possesses experience in results-focused coaching and feedback, managing and facilitating leadership training and advancement programs.

Nathan Cull

Nathan Cull serves as a Business Technician with responsibility for directly supporting new employers as they open accounts and post job listings in our statewide jobs database, Nathan arranges all details to ensure successful employee Hiring Events and provides crucial support to the entire Business Relations Group. Nathan has more than 13 years of experience in customer service and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology from Colorado State University-Pueblo. Nathan prides himself on providing excellent customer service to all employers and job seekers.




Jennifer Pierceall Herman

Jennifer Pierceall Herman is the Industry Relations Manager at the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. Before coming to the PPWFC, Jennifer held several leadership positions in higher education and community non-profits. She worked in career counseling, academic advising, and other student services for many years at both Pikes Peak Community College and Pueblo Community College. She was the Director and Dean of the Fremont Campus (in Canon City) for Pueblo Community College for close to 10 years, where she also served on the Workforce Investment Board for the Canon City Workforce Center and the Upper Arkansas Region; and served on the Fremont Economic Development Council. Next, Jennifer worked in non-profit management as the CEO for the Boys & Girls Club of Fremont County. She also previously worked in the communication industry as a journalist for the Jamestown Sun (ND) and the Centralia Sentinel (IL). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois; a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Minnesota State University-Moorhead; and has completed Ph.D. coursework in Leadership, Research & Policy at UCCS. Jennifer is also a graduate of the Colorado Community College System Academy of Leaders; the Academic Management Institute; and the Colorado Community Resource Center (CRC) Non-Profit Leadership and Management Institute.
