The Pikes Peak Workforce Center continually partners to assess the regional skills gap between employer needs and job seeker skills. This on-going effort contributes to our ability to effectively connect vital businesses with work-ready job seekers and employer-driven services.

The Pikes Peak Workforce Center, in partnership with Pikes Peak Community College and Colorado Advanced Manufacturing Alliance-South, commissioned the study: “Manufacturing Skills Survey of the Pikes Peak Region.” The report is a follow-up to the landmark 2015 jointly-published study: “Assessment of Employers’ Skill Needs for the Pikes Peak Region – Skills Report 2018.” The report is a study of employers’ perceptions about the manufacturing skills gap in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado to help workforce development partners focus resources and services.

The Pikes Peak Workforce Center, in partnership with Pikes Peak Community College, and the University of Colorado –Colorado Springs Economic Forum, commissioned the study: “Assessment of Employers’ Skill Needs for the Pikes Peak Region – Skills Report 2018.” The study conducted in Fall 2015 has become a landmark regional assessment and guide to assist the region in recognizing and closing the skills gap between regional employer requirements and job seeker skills.
