This program is for UI claimants and those who recently exhausted their benefits. Participants will receive individual job search assistance, career guidance, and case management services to receive Work Experience or an On-the-Job (OJT) Training assignment with participating employers. Priority will be given to individuals who have exhausted their UI benefits or will exhaust their UI benefits within 60 days.

Participants will discuss and receive referrals to Workforce Investment Act (WIA) programs and in-house training to improve their marketability and employment skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

· Must be current UI claimant or received UI within the past twelve months
· Must have a child under the age of 18
· Must be able to verify lawful presence in the United States
· Must have a household income of less than $75,000 for the 12 month period prior to enrollment
· Must be a resident of the El Paso/Teller County area
· Must be able to participate in appropriate work experience/OJT assignments with targeted employers
· Must Be able to attend targeted workshops and networking groups
